A little about this car/customer, hes a good friend who has definitely used his GT3 for what it is used for, the TRACK! After several years of track usage and other new toys in his corral he decided a good NWAS makeover would be what it needed to be restored to its original glory days of cleanliness. We performed our Fanatic Detail which is an extensive In and Out (a wheels off, undercarriage cleaning and fender well cleaning) detailing package which covers our “Fanatic” customers needs. I will let the pictures describe the process from here:

Because this car has seen extensive track time, the clear bra on the side skirts has been marked up by tire debris. With usage such as this vehicle, it is very smart to stay on top of cleaning your car after a track event. Hot brakedust deposits can lead to pitting of the wheels and that same hot brake dust can stain or discolor clearbra over time, depending on what product you choose for your paint protection film. Because of this; the clear bra became yellow needed to be replaced while it was here at NWAS.
While all of the superficial dirt and grime was removed in the first stage of the undercarriage wash, there was still rubber actually melted onto the underside of the fender (Melted Rubber Fling). A method of using steam and various citrus based degreasing products were used in this stage to remove the product and then a cleaner wax was used to care for the paint inside the fenders for the future. The residual contaminants visible in the after photos are from rock chips on the inner fender liners.
Now that the underside of the car had been taken care of, it was time to wash the exterior of the vehicle. As well as going through all the engine jambs, bonnet, fuel door and door shuts with a citrus based cleaner and a boars hair brush:
After washing the car and clay baring it to remove any surface contaminants that may have been left on the paint, it was time for the assessment and actual paint correction to start.
Once polishing was done, it was time to reinstall the standard clear bra kit to the vehicle. This kit included 18 inches of the hood and front fenders, Headlights, corner markers, side mirrors, door cups, door edge guards and rear fenders. This is also when we removed and installed a new OEM front lip for his 997
Finally after one of our most thorough details, the vehicle was ready for delivery. We were proud to deliver this car to a client and a friend in the best shape we could possibly make this vehicle. Hope you’ve enjoyed this writeup
