It’s not easy to keep a light color interior clean. Even with regular maintenance, the different leather, vinyl and cloth parts are susceptible to staining simply from regular use. It goes without saying then that a car with a light interior that is used to haul kids around is bound to get dirty…really dirty. From drawings on steamed up windows, to their feet on the backs of the seats, to crumbs just about everywhere; this BMW 330i showed all the tell tale signs. Several steps were required to rejuvenate this vehicle’s interior. The first of which was our full leather restoration treatment. In this process the leather is provided with the essential oils it’s lost over the years. After application, these oils are left to cure in order to get maximum penetration into the leather hide. This process brings back that new leather smell and feel as if you were stepping into a brand new car. This also includes an interior detail where we clean the rest of the interior as well as spot clean any visible stains that the vehicle may have.
The next step in the interior detailing process for this vehicle was our Ozone Treatment. While not always necessary in an interior detail, this vehicle seemed to have accumulated some mold in the floor mats. Mold can be hazardous to your health if inhaled and especially for someone that had kids, this needed to be remedied immediately. How the Ozone machine works is that once placed in the car, the Ozone molecules neutralize any sort of living organisms such as germs, viruses, or fungi (mold) in the vehicle. Check out some photos of the process below.
And after…
