As many of our readers & clients know, we’re strong proponents of keeping original paint intact. From the inception of NWAS, we’ve sought out the best possible solutions for maintaining & protecting vehicle surface conditions at any cost, using top quality materials from the industry’s leading product manufacturers. At the core of preventative exterior care, we find one of our most requested services – XPEL paint protection.
As part of the “Dealer Spotlight” series, we worked alongside XPEL’s brand ambassador to capture & create a quick, insightful look at how the NWAX x XPEL connection got started. With that, we wanted to shed light on our workflow, what lead us to utilizing XPEL’s products over any other paint protection film on the market, and why we continue to do so. Beyond producing awesome products, XPEL is making it easier & easier for dealers such as ourselves to get exactly what customers need with no unnecessary fluff. From a quick response time on film orders, to a massive selection of vehicles in the DAP kit database, and always supporting their dealers & installers with promotional efforts, it’s clear that they’re in the industry for all the right reasons.
Along with the dealer spotlight, we’re also excited to show off a little gallery of one of the video’s central stars, a brand new Bianco Monocerus Lamborghini Huracan.
As you can see, this Huracan received a few vinyl touches after we finished production. The additions make it feel reminiscent of our Stealth wrapped Huracan that was completed late in 2014, except instead of Total Coverage XPEL STEALTH, it’s equipped with Full Frontal ULTIMATE.
It’s a fairly simplistic but effective aesthetic update, and one we’ve executed on numerous other vehicles. Adding a swath of Avery satin carmine red on the lip brings some Super Trofeo feel to the front while tying in the factory red calipers together with the rest of the Bianco exterior.
Much like the Stealth wrapped Verde Mantis Huracan, we also worked in some matte black inlays to give the Lambo a more aggressive, wide-mouth feel.
Inside the cabin, the all-black interior is trimmed up with bright red stitching — the perfect choice to bring about a little color contrast and conformity to the exterior accents.
Even though this Huracan’s side stripes aren’t sporting an Italia top cap, the matte black does a nice job of breaking up the Bianco & drawing the eye down the profile of the Lamborghini, right up to those hefty 6-piston calipers.
At a three-quarter perspective, the matte black inlays on the side echo back a shape that’s visually similar to the window frame & angular roof line on the Huracan, like they could be a OEM option. The addition emphasizes the Lamborghini’s sharp geometry nicely, making the rear arches stand out even more.
Around the back, it’s bad bull business as usual.
Back outside, the Bianco Monocerus looked stellar in the afternoon sun. With the Full Frontal XPEL ULTIMATE paint protection package fully cured out & looked over, it was finally time to send the Lamborghini packing.
We thoroughly enjoyed having the Huracan take part in our XPEL Dealer Spotlight shoot, and it’s always a pleasure to protect some of the NorthWest’s finest automobiles with the industry’s leading film!
