Last week we got the chance to get our hands on a brand new, 2011 Subaru WRX STi while he got to play with our customer loaner car. With only 350 miles on it, the owner made a smart move and came in for a new car detail, window tint and standard kit, front end clear bra to protect his new Subaru. As a Subaru owner myself, I can attest to the relatively low quality of the OEM paint and wish I had gotten a clear bra before my front end was sand blasted by road debris. Because this car was getting a wide array of the services we offer here at NorthWest Auto Salon, we wanted to document them all, from start to finish, so you could have an idea of what really goes into these services. We decided to make a time lapse video because it really illustrates all the work that goes into this 11 hour (and about 20 man hours) process in a very condensed amount of time. Here are some behind the scenes shots of the making of the video followed by the video itself. Hope you enjoy them!

Snow foam doing its job removing and dissolving larger dirt particles before the wash so as not to rub them over the surface of the paint during the wash process.
Tinting process

After tint
And now for some photos of the finished product after a hand wash, auto detail, window tint, and installation of clear bra protective film

I love the time lapse that you guys do, but I didn’t really care for the choice of music you picked for this. All of the other videos I feel the music fits.
Keep up the good work.
Great vid, liked the music. new and fresh 🙂
