In 2003, BMW introduced the Z8 Alpina Roadster. While the Z8 had been available for three years before this version, the Alpina edition came with several important changes. Among them were the addition of the convertible top and a new 375hp/383tq, 4.2 liter V8. Because of this and its all aluminum body, it held records for production cars for many years. With only 555 of these specific versions of the Z8 ever built, we were excited to have the opportunity to revitalize a part of BMWs history.
