Bringing a cars finish back to life is really amazing thing to watch. By this, I don’t mean taking swirl marks and marring out of an almost brand new Ferrari. These kind of cars have ample clear coat for correction and make it much more straight forward of a job. Taking a 30 plus year old vehicle who’s finish is so dull it looks almost flat and transforming it back to a glossy finish its owner can be proud of requires a special tools and more importantly, immense skill. Much like we did on an old Citroën 2CV a couple months ago, we were able to bring the shine back to this old Lancia’s finish. This is an example of how NorthWest Auto Salon can work on anything, and provide our customers with their ideal services by offering everything ala-cart. This detail wasn’t the epitome of paint correction, but based on the customers desires, they just wanted to replenish the oils to their paint and be able to wax their vehicle regularly and keep the original paint in as good of condition as they could after we were done with it.
Look at how dull the paint was when it came to us. Would you ever expect that could shine again?
